Customer Access Comments and Codes.
Asset Code
Customer Access code is how the customers allows access to the property when they are not present at the time of a delivery or service. This could be the garage code or a key to the property. DW has various branches that accept keys from customer to be able to enter their property. In the case of DW accepting a key, the key will be tagged with numerical code. The code is then entered in the customer database. Every time the customer has a request for delivery or service call, that code will show up in the ticket so that the driver or tech and pull that key and take it to complete the request.
Access Comment
A comment on the customer file that identifies either location of equipment or customer preferences.
- In the customer file> Edit > Classification> Access code.
- Enter “Access Code” – Enter the code. Examples: “1234” “K 5670”, “2910”.
- Enter “Access Comment”. Enter comments such as: “Garage code”, “Keyless entry front door”, “Always use the back door”, “Never leave product out” or “Steep staircase”.
- Save.
